All the Lebanese should think this way...so stop being cheap and vote to who pays more. Vote for those who are free ... and lets all think how we make Lebanon stand up on his feets again and lets stop asking everybody we meet about their names to know to what religion they belong...lets be united for Lebanon, our Lebanon...

The scope of the action required needs to blow the whistle loud, loud, and clear... The Lebanon and the surrounding region could fall well into the deepest boiling level of trouble, confrontation, chaos, and more disasters than can be imagined, if the voice of reason and communal reconciliation cannot prevail. That is the crux of the whole matter in our dearest Cedarland. To say enough, is not enough. The walk of the Seculars movement needs to galvanize its true ethical and patriotic spirit without hinging on a destructive totaliterian platform. The job is too challenging, complex, but yet very much needed and worthy of the required sacrifice. The way out of the prevailing mess in Lebanon, which keeps generating commotion, wars, and internal strife evey decade or so, dictates that we take the lead and make the change in a democratic and civilized manner.

In principle, the idea of secularism is great for a country where every all people within its boarders agree that the national interests are above all. In Lebanon however, there is no such thing as national interest but rather personal interests and benefits. Each group edefines lebanon in accordance with the the personal benefits of its leadership. Moreover, secularism, as wonderful of a concept as it is, cannot be achieved because Islam and secularism are anonyms. This becomes particularly impossible in a country like Lebanon bedcause all offices are distributed in accordance with religious and secular affiliations. Finally, some great leaders of Lebanon called for and tried to achieve secularim in the country and elsewhere through the region, but their call touched only very few Muslims and very few christians. Only the Greek Orthodox community in this country can call and practice secularism. Good luck

تحية طيبة وبعد اود هن ابدي اعجابي الكبير بهذا الموقع لاني لطالما حلمت بالعيش في مجتمع علماني وارى بقعة ضوء في هذا الموقع ولكن اخاف ان تختفي هذه البقعة في بحر الظلام الذي نعيش فيه لذا رجاءا حافظوا على هذا الامل الذي اعطيتموني اياه و ادعو الله ان يبقى معكم فلا تياسوا لان بزوغ الفجر اصبح قريبا جدا

احبائي .. تحية لكم وألف تحية للوطن.. للبنان الغالي ,لبنان الحبيب,لبنان الجريح. وطننا ينازع ايها الاحبة ,لقد اثخنوا براءته باحقادهم الطائفية, يكاد جنونهم ان يطيح بنا ويغرق المركب ونحن عليه.فما ذنبنا ونحن البريئين من كل خطاياهم ,سوى انه قد شاء القدر ان يضعنا واياهم بنفس المركب؟. فما العمل برايكم ايها الاعزّاء؟؟؟ منذ ان وجد هذا المنتدى الى حين كتابتي هذه الكلمات,قد وصل عددنا الى ما يقارب الالف وخمسمائة لبناني,1500 قبلة على جبين الوطن,عددنا ما زال قليل ربما,ولكن تذكروا اعزائي نحن الان نواة الخلاص,فرسان الجرأة والرأي الحر,والمشوار امامنا طويل جدا ,ربما لن نصل الى مبتغانا الان ولكن الشجرة التي غرسناها سيقطف ثمارها اولادنا واحفادنا من دون شك,فهنيئا لكم زرعكم ايها اللبنانيين الحقيقيين الشرفاء . عشتم وعاش الوطن .
