By ghassan Before leaving Lebanon in 1975 I worked a lot with friends from all confessions for a free & democratic Lebanon based on non-religion political system but in vain..the war destroyed our hope and now we in 2006 & nothing changed even I regret to say it is worse & have little hope of change reason I decided to never return back to Lebanon & letting my children now in their 20th to settle abroad far from our beloved Lebanon, I was all time an optimistic man but now for Lebanon I am quite spetic as most Lebanses outside Lebanon are idealist but onece in Lebanon they return back to their political & religious fanatism...anyhow I wish you the best success to reconstruct Lebanon on secular basis the only way Lebanon can survive...Good Luck.. huge & generations education are needed already at home & at schools....Bless You all ..... |
